Mindfulness in Nature

A path of awareness, well-being, and connection in the open air.

Living in the "Here and Now"

The literal translation of Mindfulness is awareness. It represents the ability to be fully present, moment by moment, living in the instant. It is an active attention that allows us to know where our mind is and to choose where to direct it.

Practicing Mindfulness in nature improves quality of life and psychophysical well-being. The natural environment, like the forest, brings us into contact with our true existential condition: a constant dialogue with the unknown, an invitation to observe without judgment.

What Mindfulness Is Not

It is not a passing trend, nor a simple relaxation technique. It is not hypnosis or a mystical practice. It is a discipline of the mind that, as such, requires consistency, time, and patience to cultivate.

Mindfulness and Psychology

In the late 1970s, biologist Jon Kabat-Zinn introduced mindfulness techniques into clinical settings, creating the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) protocol. This approach is guided by qualified professionals for stress reduction.

Governing the Mind, Connecting to the Body

Our mind, if left to its own devices, constantly wanders between the past and the future, disconnecting us from the present. Mindfulness helps us find our center again.

The Wandering Mind

Our thoughts often get stuck on ruminations and worries. The result is that we spend most of our time elsewhere, instead of living the only moment that exists: the present.

Mind and Body Disconnected

Many of our daily activities are performed on autopilot. The mind is elsewhere, disconnected from the body. We miss parts of our lives, living less fully and consciously.

Reclaiming Your Life

Meditation allows us to reclaim our existence, to observe thoughts without being overwhelmed by them, and to savor what surrounds us in a more functional and authentic way.
